Borrowing Procedures

Students wish to check a book out from the MLC must present their student I.D. number at the desk along with the materials they wish to check out. Any materials charged to their accounts is the students' responsibility.  Students will be reminded to return books at the end of each semester.  Any lost, damaged, or stolen books will be charged to the student.

Tutoring

Tutoring makes a big difference! In addition to improving grades, tutoring helps students increase their self-esteem, feel more positive about a hard subject, and develop a study plan that works best as an individual.

Students can access tutors in math and writing in the far back of the Media Learning Center. Tutors are not available every period, so it is recommended students check the tutoring schedule before planning to come.

Book Club

Lake Catholic High School’s Book Club meets once a month to read and discuss a variety of both fiction and nonfiction material.  Faculty, staff and students select titles for the upcoming school year and discuss the content as a group.  Students interested in signing up for Book Club should visit the Media Learning Center.

Printing

Both black & white and color printing are available in the Media Learning Center. Students needing to print in color should stop at the Circulation desk for assistance. Color printing is limited to school-related purposes only.
